John Rodgers  (aka arthurkoestler on these pages)  studied  the kinetics of  regulation of milk protein mRNAs in rat mammary organ culture explants for his PhD. Since then he has conducted research in class Ib histocompatibility antigens, immune responses to gene therapy and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and has taught immunology and transdisciplinary topics to graduate students for twenty years. A major current professional research interests is how to  evaluate and improve the quality of mentoring of biomedical research scientists.
